Our Missions

• Expand the sport of Rugby in greater Kansas City, especially the youth and high school levels
• Promote the Gerard Seymour Rugby Scholarship
• Help grow the Kansas City Rugby Football Club in a professional, meaningful manner to compete in regional and national championships
• Educate the general public about the sport of Rugby
• Assist with the new Rugby Stadium
• Assist in charitable/community events in greater Kansas City

Areas of Focus

1. Provide scholarship money for selected low-income Rugby-playing high school graduates


2. Begin new high school teams every other year


3. Assist with “Rookie Rugby” youth program


4. Assist future growth and development of Kansas City Rugby Football Club


5. Provide impetus to merge KCRFC with women’s club (the Kansas City Jazz)


6. Make the new Rugby Park on Troost the “Home of Rugby in Kansas City”
